Whenever the parents ask me to enumerate the best engineering universities in the Netherlands, the first ranking that I would regard is QS World University Rankings 2026 since the ranking is the most trusted ranking as certified by the employer and higher education institution.

TU Delft led the tables in the Netherlands, but was number 47 in the world, in general, in the QS World University Ranking 2026, with University of Amsterdam at 53. In 103rd place was Utrecht University. Some of the well known engineering names are as follows:
